This looks like it might be good over ice cream too.

1/4 cup oleo

1 T flour

1 t vanilla

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup milk or water

Mix together. Cook until thick. (Kathleen says: cook over medium heat so the milk doesn't scorch). Pour over apple halves and bake for 1 hour at 350.
