I've read Plain Perfect, am reading Plain Pursuit, and will read the next one, too. Thank you for suggesting it on the Amazon website. My church ladies group loves them! We love the simple and devoted life of the amish. It's part of the reason I wanted to move to the country..so we could do more on our own, slow things down, etc. I feel closer to God out here..not that I am, but it's so much more peaceful and serene.
One suggestion I would make, though, is to put more of the AMISH aspect into the books. More detail into the chores they have to do, why they're amish, more of the day-to-day life, etc. Or maybe we just are looking for amish LIFE books moreso than amish romance. (Although we are enjoying these). I think part of the reason for the surge in amish readers is that you/we "can't" just go and sit with them and ask all the questions and be engulfed by their way of life. (I realize there ARE places that you can go and visit and get a taste of it, but I mean it's not an everyday, community kind of thing). It's something we watch from afar..or in our case, have to plan a trip to go and visit. We can't get enough of them! And I think it's affecting our circle..we're reaching out more to each other and our neighborhoods, trying to bring back the sense of family and community. (Which is MOST important to me).
So thank you for these books, and I'll try to get to the other authors as I see them at the library, or in "used" sales, etc. (Buying them new can get expensive).

Beth I love the cover !! It looks so wonderful. If you have been there I am sure that picture is there. I can't wait to read them!! Back order means I have to wait!! I know it will be worth it when I do get my copy!!

Just finished reading Plain Pursuit it's fantastic. Couldn't put the book down once I started reading it. Can't wait for Plain Promise to come out later this year. Thank you for a great read.

I think the artist did an incredible job with the cover of Plain Promise, Beth. I love the expression on the girl's face and wish I could step into the picture.
