Plain Perfect Teams with Quaker Summer

First of all - congrats to Amy!!  A Gift of Grace received 4 stars out of a possible 4.5 stars from Romantic Times Magazine, and I'm pleased to report that Plain Pursuit also received 4 stars from Romantic Times.

My publisher, Thomas Nelson, is packaging the first book in the Daughters of the Promise series, Plain Perfect, with award-winning author Lisa Samson's Quaker Summer.  I am super honored that Plain Perfect is teaming with Quaker Summer as a two-for-one volume.

Lisa Samson wrote the novelization for the award-winning movie, Bella.  She is a Christy Award winner, and her book Quaker Summer won Christianity Today's Book Award for 2008 and was also listed as one of PW's Best Books of the Year for 2007.

If you haven't read Plain Perfect or would like to see the book trailer, I'm attaching it.  BOOK TRAILER FOR PLAIN PERFECT.

This volume will release in June 2009 and is currently available for pre-order at Barnes and Noble for $11.24 for both books in one!  Not a bad deal!

Have a great week!  Don't forget Mom on Mother's Day!  (I hope my sons are reading this!)

Beth, how nice that Plain Perfect will be teamed with Lisa Samson's Quaker Summer. I'll have to check her out as an author, as we've seen the movie Bella, and it was quite good. Congratulations again to you & Amy for the 4 stars. Personally, I would have given them both top honors at 4.5!!

Well, I agree with "Cathy with an e"--I would have given both of your (you & Amy) books 4.5 stars! They're both great books! I have "Plain Perfect" ordered from CBD & it will hopefully arrive in my mailbox today!

Oh Beth! I did get my Plain Pursuit in the mail, just yesterday. It is WONDERFUL!!! I am about 3/4 the way through it & I don't ever want it to end! This one is even better than the first one (Plain Perfect) and I thought it was terrific!!! I can't wait, now, to get my hands on "Plain Promise". Congratulations on such a great book!
