The book signing of a lifetime!

Today I participated in a book signing at a LifeWay Christian Store in Charlotte.  Not only did I meet the most wonderful readers, but I also had the privilege to sit next to two very special women – Martha Earnhardt and Carol Gordon Bickford.

Mrs. Earnhardt and Mrs. Bickford had written a very special cookbook called Pit Stop in a Southern Kitchen.  And the most exciting part of the story is the Mrs. Earnhardt is mother to Dale Earnhardt Sr. and his son, Dale Jr.  Mrs. Bickford’s son is Jeff Gordon.  Mrs. Earnhardt’s daughter Cathy was also with them.

I had a wonderful time meeting readers and also chatting with Mrs. Earnhardt, Carol, and Cathy.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by today to see me and buy A Gift of Grace.  I can’t tell you what an honor it is to meet you all at signings.

Blessings,
Amy

I am so happy for you with your book A Gift Of Grace. It is one of the best books I have ever read. Also My little 3 year old grandson loves (JR) he calls him, he pulls for him in the car races, he has a head full of curls and is so funney when he want Junior to win, he gets all into it. So like my husband his grandpa.
Again May God bless you and I hope you sell a millon or more books.

Thank you so much, Edna!!  I'm so glad you enjoyed my book so much.  Dale Jr. is my favorite driver too!  It was an honor to meet his Mamaw.  Jeff's mom was very nice, too, and I also enjoyed meeting Dale Jr's aunt.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.  Thank you again!

      Blessings,
      Amy

Hi Amy, wow that was a privilege. I'm happy for you. You deserve it, you are a wonderful author and I loved your book dearly. You had sent me a advanced readers copy and I couldn't put it down. If you have anything else let me know. I would love to help with advanced copies. I have done reviews for other authors so keep me in mind.
    Thank you,

Hi Amy, I'm not sure if I've ever told you, but we are huge race fans in my family. I even have Jeff Burton's tire in my gameroom. One vacation, a couple of years ago, we visited 7 race tracks in 7 days, including the tracks in Atlanta, NC, SC as well as Bristol and Talladega. How exciting that you met the mom of Jeff Gordon (my oldest son's favorite driver) and the grandma to Dale Jr. (my youngest son's favorite driver). What wonderful blessings God has brought into your life through you writing. Congratulations again on your book. Love you lots, Carol

Oh wow!!  How wonderful that you and your family are race fans!  If you ever come out to LMS, let me know!  I would love to go to Talladega!  We've been to South Boston (which is no longer on the schedule), Dover, Richmond, Martinsville and LMS.  Thank you for the congratulations!  Love you too!
