A Busy Week!
My husband, Patrick, did a really sweet thing last week. I was scheduled to speak at our local library and then sign books afterward. He knew I was a little nervous, but he had a scheduling conflict and said he couldn't make it. Only a minute or two before I was scheduled to speak, I felt a tap on my shoulder behind me. You guessed it! He showed up. Anyway, I just wanted to mention that.
Also, I sold 22 books at a car dealership, of all places. I thought that was pretty good. Lots of fun!
And, my big news is that after six long years, my oldest son (Eric) graduated with his Master's Degree in Music Performance from Sam Houston State University!! I just cried and cried! I'm so proud of him.
I'm leaving for Paradise, Pennsylvania Thursday, so my next post will be from Amish Dutch Country! Til then, I just wanted to share some pics with you!! Have a wonderful week!!
At the library when Hubby surprised me! Look at those hands going! I always talk with my hands!
Book signing at the car dealership with owners, Karen and Tommy Brasher. I tried to trade books for that shiny new Camaro in the background, but no deal!
My sweet baby boy at his graduation from college - and his very happy mother! Why don't they shave for these events???
Stay safe!!

How proud you must feel! Have a safe and happy trip to Paradise! If you see Barb Beiler @ Beiler's Bed & Breakfast, tell her I said Hi...We stayed with her and has kept in touch for a while.
Blessings,
CarolG

Love the pics! And since I married & had kids late, I am in total denial of how old I really am. And you look way too young to have a kid in his mid-twenties.
But this month is my 30th year since I graduated from our dear old H.S.!! Gulp!
Can't wait to hear about your trip!

Beth, you really have been one busy lady! That was so sweet of Patrick to rearrange his schedule and be there for you at the library. I know I would have enjoyed hearing you speak about the Amish, but I really don't like to drive that far at night (we're 27.5 miles from Columbus and out in the woods). Congratulations on the great book signing at Brasher and congratulations to Eric on his Masters degree! That must have been a great Mothers' Day gift to see him graduate. Have a safe trip to Amish country!
