Back from Lancaster County!
First of all -- a big thanks to Kathy for mentioning that Plain Pursuit hit the CBA bestseller list, along with Amy's A Gift of Grace. And, sending Barbara a hug for writing such nice reviews of both books. It's going to be super cool when the four of us get to meet in person some day!!
My trip to Lancaster County was fabulous. In an effort not to be repetitive for those of you who are subscribed to this blog and my personal blog, I'll just invite you to visit my personal blog at http://blog.bethwiseman.net to hear all about my trip and to see pictures. I brought back lots of Amish goodies that I'll be giving away on my personal blog and this one.
So, without further ado...here's the first item! Just post a comment to this blog entry, and I'll draw a winner next Monday when I blog. Sending Kathy a hug, too, for swapping blog days with me!

Thank you to all of you who write some heart warming and wonderful Amish christian novels. It is something my daughter and I have come to share and we just love chatting about the characters and events in each book. I always find that the books always have a special meaning in them for me, insight or wisdom. Thank you. I love the mouse pad that you are going to give away Beth. It will go perfect in our homeschool room. I look forward to seeing all the other wonderful items you will be giving away. Exciting!

Thank you for sharing your visit to Lancaster County with your readers. I now am making a list of places to eat and visit for our Sept. holiday- we have been to one bakery in Bird in Hand, but not the one you mentioned. I just love your books- and your blog is excellent too!

Welcome back. Enter me to win.
I wish sometimes I could just go visit an Amish Community and chat with the people. But I have been blessed with an Amish friend since 1995 that I did not know was Amish until the year. So I want to plan to go see her and meet her in person this summer.
I enjoy books about the Amish because there is a community in Seymour, Mo. not far from here and when I lived in Illinois we always went to the Amish village in Arcola.
With the economy as it is, the Amish are better prepared than we are. They are used to doing without all the luxuries we take for granite.
God Bless you special today.

I was able to sit down and read Plain Perfect and Plain Pursuit over the weekend. They were wonderful stories! I can't wait for Plain Promise now.

Beth, I already read and replied at your blogsite, but I forgot to ask you what is the significant difference between the Old Order Amish and the Beachy Amish? Do you know how they came to have the name "Beachy Amish?" Thanks!

I love all your Amish books, and can't wait for the next one. Your mouse pad is real cute, I hadn't seen that one before. My daughter copied a picture of my husband & me when we were dating many years ago. That is special to me.

Hello, Beth, I would like to Thank You for sharing your pictures with us and I truly love your books. How awesome, an Amish moouse pad. That is something I would truly love to have in my home with my computer. I also sure would love to have a chance to reide in one of their Buggies.
We have a small Amish community near here where I live and the other day I took a drive over there and went to their Bakery, bought a loaf of cinnamon raison breas and some pineapple squres, they were just sooooo GOOD..
I am reading Plain Pursuit now and am over half way through. It is such a great book as was Plain Perfect and am anxious to get to read the next one already... Keep the good books coming...

I love Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and anything Amish, especially books. I just got done reading A Gift of Grace and was searching for the other books in the series when I stumbled across your website here. I will definitely put it on my favorites list. I look forward to reading more of your books. Thanks.
