Choose A Cover For Plain Paradise!

My fabulous editor and I are not in complete agreement about which cover should be used for  book #4 in the Daughters of the Promise series, Plain Paradise.  I think both covers are great, but I like one better than the other.  She likes the other one better.  Her idea -- because she is so fabulous -- is for readers to vote!  How cool is that?  So, just post a comment and let us know if you like Cover #1 better, or will it be Cover #2?

   Cover #1
   Cover #2

Amy, Kathy, and Barbara - would love for you to vote too!!

On another note - I found a mysterious love letter on a bridge.  To read about it, go to my BLOG

Have a blessed week everyone!

No idea what the book is about, so not sure of what you're after with the cover. But just on appearance, number one draws my eye more. I think it's the colors. But the woman on the cover of 2 has longing written all over her, so if that fits, then no. 2? Maybe she's longing for a new plow?

I think both covers are beautiful though. You can't go wrong! Love the series logo, too. Can't wait to see it on the shelves!

I definitely like #2 best, especially because of the title and the fact that this is the last book. I like the looking forward like there is some resolution coming. And with Paradise in the title, why would anyone look back?

I am so glad there is a book 4. I love the stories. I know a lot of Amish women who live in my area and I often think of them as I read your books. I like cover #1,I imagine she is rather shy and the artist captured the emotion prefectly. Love the closer view. Keep writing.

Beth, both covers are excellent, but I would vote for #1. There is almost too much pain in the face on #2, which doesn't quite fit with the title, Plain Paradise. Either will be great though! Love the covered bridge!

I am trying to draw my suggestion by the previous covers of Daughters of Paradise thus far. What I see is
Plain Perfect looking to the right
    Plain Pursuit looking right-ward
    Plain Promise also looking right--
so if you like unity, Plain Paradise should remain looking right, #2..but if for that very reason you think it's time for a change, then choose looking left, as is #1.
Not knowing the story line of any of the books,as I have not gotten to read any of this particular series yet, I can only offer my opinion from the visual perspective. Personally,I think the art should depict the theme of the end of the story.
    That's just my opinion..
Thanks for allowing that opportunity--it's fun.

Well first I like them both, but I read up further that the woman on #2 looked older than #1, and I agree. I like the full face version, but the color on #2 looks washed out. So #1 just draws me in. Love your writings. Keep up the good work, and let us know if the letter on the bridge goes missing.

Both of the covers are good. I chose #1 because she looks pensive as if waiting for something. Also it's not a direct frontal view so as to almost keep with their beliefs of no graven image.

Just wanted to tell you that I am on Plain Promise. These are the at the top of my list of best books.I love to read books that I cannot put down and all 3 of these are like this. I see that there is a book 4. Keep on writing. Having Amish pictures on the front of the books help me to relate to the characters in the book. Is there going to be a book 5? Thanks
