Knee-Deep in Revisions!
Hi everyone!
Today I did another book signing in Charlotte. I signed at a Books-A-Million located in the Steele Creek area. My publisher, Zondervan, asked me to sign at Books-A-Million stores because A Gift of Grace is a BAM book club selection for July. I had a lot of fun and was really excited that a couple of writer friends came out to see me. Below is a photo of me with my dear friend Sabrina Luna (center) and my mom, Lola, (right). Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see me and pick up a copy of A Gift of Grace.
My mom lives with my family and me, and my father’s in a nursing home nearby. Poor Mom keeps our rambunctious boys for us during the week while my husband and I work, so she’s thrilled to go out to book signings with me. Honestly, she’s excited just to go to a store alone without the boys!
Currently I’m working on revision to my second Kauffman Amish Bakery book, A Promise of Hope, which is the story of Sarah Troyer, a young widow who is expecting twins. I’m very excited about this book, and it will release in March.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I must close for now and get back to my revisions. I’m traveling to Lancaster in a couple of weeks for research and my hope to finish my revisions before I leave. It’s a difficult task for me since I balance working full-time and writing.
Blessings,
Amy

Hi Amy, I thought the second book was already out. lol But, now that I know it won't be until March, I can't wait until then. I am anxious to read it. You have a lovely looking Mom.

Amy, that is wonderful that your mother can help with your two boys. I was wondering how you juggled that along with a full time job, writing, and Joe's illness. Good luck with the revisions and I'll keep praying for a kidney donor that matches for Joe!

Thank you, Cathy! My mom is my rock. I'd be lost without her! Thank you for the prayers. Have a nice weekend!

You are very Blessed to have your mother help you with your children and to live with you. I am sorry to read that your father is in a nursing home but I am certain that he is being given loving care.
Looking forward to your new novel.
