Cover for Plain Paradise

Last week, we took a vote for the cover of Plain Paradise.  The winner is cover #1, which is also my favorite.  It was a close vote!  And I want you all to know that this wasn't a 'just for fun' exercise.  My editor told me in advance that she was going to go with what the readers want.  Thanks so much to everyone who voted on this site and on Facebook.  A big thank you to my editor, Natalie Hanemann, for allowing readers to choose.  What a great idea!

Final cover for Plain Paradise, releasing March 2010

Hope everyone has a great week!

Hi Beth, Good Morning, How are you this fine day?

It was so nice and a pleasure to be able to help pick out a cover for your Book "Plain Paradise". I believe this cover is the one that I chose, so now I feel like I had something to do with the Book.. How Awesome is that.. It was a hard decision to choose, because they both are great covers..

Now, I am anxiously waithing for it to come out...

    Thank you,

I could have gone with the other as it represented the mother's point of view. But it was now the young lady's life and she needed to choose. So that's why I chose her picture for the cover. It was fun to work out my reasoning and picking. Thanks for letting us vote.

I am glad this cover was chosen, too. I also wish March 2010 was here even though I haven't gotten around to reading book 2 in the series. Once March is here, another winter will be about over which pleases me as I can't stand winter!!
