And thank you to everyone who bought a copy of the book. I appreciate it. This week I found out that A Man of His Word is a Christian Book Distributors Pick of the Week. That was a lovely suprise!

My trip to Maine was wonderful--we had a great time. It was nice to have a family vacation together. My children are 15, 13, and 11, and I expected a little strife and resistance about the trip, but we all had a good time. We stayed with family, who live about an hour from Bar Harbor. If you get a chance to visit Maine I highly recommend checking out this ocean town. Actually the whole area is wonderful, and you can get the most amazing ice cream made by Gifford, a company based in Maine. I wanted to try Lobster Tracks but they were sold out! No, there isn't any lobster in it, just yummy caramel. Instead I had Maine Bear Tracks, which is raspberry ice cream with raspberry swirl and chocolate pieces with raspberry filling. Wow. Just wow. And now I'm hungry.

 Zoie's first mackerel--she wouldn't touch the fish though. They're very oily, so Jimmy used gloves when baiting the hooks. Quite the fashion statement. My son Matt looks on--he caught a few mackerel, too.
