Enjoying the Holiday Weekend!
I hope you all are enjoying your long weekend! We have company in our house. My mother-in-law is visiting until Tuesday, so we’ve done some shopping. We’re also still working on our son’s room. Hopefully that will be finished up soon. The upstairs is still messy.
Congratulations to Beth, Kathy and Barbara for the release of their gorgeous novella collection, An Amish Christmas! My hubby picked up a copy for me today, and I was thrilled to hold it my hands and see my endorsement on the cover. The book is a wonderful gift idea. Congratulations on their reviews in Library Journal also!
On Thursday, September 10, from 3 to 5 pm, I’m having a book signing at Inspirational Corner in Union, South Carolina. Please check out my website for more information. I’d love to see you there!
Tomorrow we’re attending a birthday barbecue for our friends’ little boy. What do you have planned?
Enjoy the holiday!
Amy

Well, thanks for the kind words but OH NO, you didn't buy a copy, did you? I promised you I'd send you one.
I owe you and two contest winners a copy and my aunt and ... well, all I can say is I was in bad shape with my back when the books arrived last week and I can't get them into the mail into Monday afternoon...

That's okay!! Actually, Joe's mom was so excited to see my endorsement on the front that she bought two copies -- one of me and one for her. I'm so excited about it that I'm happy to have two copies! I may even pass one along to a friend. Please don't apologize for not sending it yet. Honestly, it's a gorgeous book. I'm happy to have two copies! Thank you in advance!

Well, I am hoping that the weather holds out, we had rain today, and they are calling for showers tomorrow.
But, if it all goes well, I am hosting a wiener roast for my daughter & her boyfriend, who are home from their 1st year of college.
My sisters & my other daughter and their families are anixious to see them both.
So let the sunshine tomorrow!

Amy, enjoy your weekend! We are planning to work at our church picnic tomorrow. Our parish always has its big fundraiser for the year on Labor Day Sunday, so I've done some baking and will work at two booths for 2 hours each, while my husband is involved with the parade of antique tractors. Oh, I baked the Amish Raisin Puff cookies to take to the kitchen as a dessert to go with the dinner plates!

I can hardly wait for your next Amish novel!! I loved your first one. We are having a wonderful weekend- after getting our daughter back to university ( some distance away- but it's ok. She called this a.m.- sounds happy and ready to start her second year in nursing). We spend yesterday at a Heritage Festival, enjoying the crafts, pioneer activities and pig roast. Today, of course, is church, then off tomorrow to see my favorite sister in law at the lake. Then next Sun. we head for Lancaster County for a week. Although it is a 7 hour trip from Ontario, we love the quiet atmosphere at the Bed and Breakfast in the farmlands. And.... I will shop for books- the best part!
