An Amish Christmas - Chance To Win A Copy!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday! Here in Texas it's a cool 80 degrees this morning...but it's still early! My oldest son who just turned 25 came in to spend the weekend. We're celebrating since he just started his job at a college - as a professor of music! We are so proud! It was a long six years getting that Masters Degree. He said everyone is mistaking him for a student...LOL.
My 'baby' Cory will be 18 in November, so with all four of us together - I've been cooking a lot this weekend. I wanted to share an interview that Barbara, Kathy, and I did for An Amish Christmas. Award-winning author Lena Nelson Dooley was so gracious to interview us on her site. Check it out: A Christian Writer's World -- Characters Who Grip Your Heart. Leave a comment under Lena's post for a chance to win a copy of An Amish Christmas!
Many blessings! Stay safe!

I was born and grew up in Decatur, Illinois; we are near the Amish settlement in Arthur, Illinois, so I know a lot about the Amish and some of my grandparents were Pen Dutch. I love reading anything about the Amish. They are our self-sufficient neighbors. They are stewards of the earth' but they are closer to heaven than many. I have thought of writing about the Amish but limit myself to giving presentations about our Amish neighbors.
When I want to calm down and get my heart back in order I go to Arthur, ride in the country and listen to the sound of clip-clop, clip- clop, it's better than blood pressure meds. If I can't get to Arthur, then I read books by my favorite authors of Amish stories. I am new to Beth Wisemans work, but am thoroughly enjoying them.

I didn't find Lena's post so I just added under a chance to win the book! I love to read about the Amish! The book is lovely! I have read all of the authors and all are very good! I can't wait to read this book and would love to win a copy of it! I collect books and this book would make a very nice one to add to my collection! It takes a very special book for me to keep it in my collection. I love Christian fictionals! This book falls under that type book! God Bless the authors so that they may continue to write good clean books that touch our hearts and souls! To bring us closer to the Master and teach us a lesson along the way!

I would love to win copy of this book. Then... I could take off my list of books to purchase on our trip to Lancaster County next week. I am SO excited about our annual trip!! Can hardly wait. Thank you Beth for your emails telling me about the Gordonville Bookstore and Katie's Kitchen (still don't know the address, but hopefully will find it). Does anyone know of B and B's in the Ohio Amish area? We may go there next fall.Is it as appealing as Lancaster??
