Congratulations to Beth, Amy, and Barbara! Amish Hearts is on Facebook! Also, time for Ask the Author!
What a great time I had with Amy and her mom in Greensboro last Saturday! Thank you to everyone who came out, especially Dawn, her family, Mary, and my wonderful friend Trish, who not only put me up for the weekend and drove me to Greensboro from Raleigh, but she also joined us for the booksigning. We had a blast! Next time I hope Beth and Barbara will be with us--we missed them very much.
Congratulations from me to Beth for signing more contracts with TN! This means more fabulous books from my friend and best-selling author.
Also congratulations to Amy for making the CBA best-seller list (AGAIN!) with A Gift of Grace. This novel has been out for six months and is still selling strong. Another congratulations (can you tell I love doing this) to Barbara and Beth--An Amish Christmas is still a CBD best-seller. And I'm so grateful that A Man of His Word is on the ECPA best-seller list this month. Beyond the congratulations and atta-girls for us, I'm sending out a huge THANK YOU to all of you for reading our books and supporting us. Our readers are the best, and you can quote me on that, cross-stitch it on a pillow, and put it on a t-shirt. You all rock!
Above everything else, I have to lay all this down at the Lord's feet. He's the reason I write, the reason for any earthly success I have in any aspect of my life. Thank you, God, for your grace, mercy, and favor. To You be the glory in everything.
Amish Hearts on Facebook
We now have a fan page for Amish Hearts on facebook. If you're already facebooking, please check out the page and consider joining. If you're not on facebook--here's a great excuse to get on! We'll be posting stuff from this blog on the page, plus other news and fun surprises as the page continues to grow. Hope to see you there!
Time for Ask the Author!
I thought this week I'd end my post with this question: what would you like to ask me? It can be about anything--the only questions I won't answer are really personal ones, like my shoe size.
I also don't post pictures of my family except for facebook. But other than that I'm ready for your questions. Anything you're dying to know? Anything your mildly curious to know?
'Til next time,
Kathleen

Kathleen, congratulations to you, Beth, Amy, and Barbara for all your successes with your Amish writing. It is so good to see you ladies being honored for your work for the Lord, and it is so refreshing to see Him working through all of you to spread His love. One question, Kathleen, how many years have you been writing for publication? Somehow I feel like the Lord was honing your skills to prepare you for this current work with the Amish stories. Have a great day!

How about writing about a Jewish Christian like myself who visited Lancaster County a few months ago, helped out c a barn raising...? Have survived 6 cancers, polio, post polio and have job security for my entire life in the medical/nursing/healthcare fields. I can provide enough Judiac backgroud.

First of all; Congratulations to Beth, Amy and Barbara. Sorry I was so close and couldn't be at the signing in Greensboro to meet Kathleen. My question for you Kathleen is this!
Have you ever spend time like vacation time at an Amish familys home? If so, what was it like? Thank you all for the great books; I can't get enough of them. God Bless you all for what you do.
