Happy Thankgiving, Contest Correction, Amish Living and the chance to win a LIBRARY of signed Amish novels!

Happy Thanksgiving a little early! It's hard to believe the holiday is already here. I'm still wondering where November went. Seems like October just ended yesterday.

I made a goof last week in my post about Amish Gathering. I had written contest in the title, but forgot to tell everyone what the contest is and how to enter. So here's the scoop--to win a copy of Amish Gathering add your comment here. If you commented last week, you're automatically in the drawin, and I'll post the winner next week. Sorry for the confusion!

I have another exciting announcement--I'd like to invite you to join Beth, Barbara, Amy, Colleen Coble and I along with other Amish fans at a new web community called Amish Living. This is a fantastic community where you can exchange recipes, discuss your favorite Amish novels, find out information from others about the best places to visit in Amish Country, and much more. Right now we're discussing simple traditions for the holidays. Micah Walker has written a terrific article about the Amish and their traditions, some of which Barbara, Beth and I touched on in our stories in An Amish Christmas. Amish Living is all about community and sharing, concepts which are deeply valued by the Amish. Join Amish Living, check out the article and share some of your favorite holiday traditions for a chance to win a LIBRARY of signed Amish fiction. That's right, not just one book, but several!!!   I can't wait to see you there!

I hope each of you have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for the wonderful readers who support all of us. We couldnn't do any of this without you. Thanks to you all!

'Til next time,
Kathleen

I love books about the Amish. Part of me likes the simple way of life. I'm not sure that out society might be in better shape than it is now.
