Much Thanks...and Another Contest!
First of all...thanks to Kathy for switching days with me. She posted this past Monday in my place so that I could visit my friend's son, Brian, in the hospital. Thanks SO much for all the prayers. I visited Brian again today, and he is still critical. However, when he gets better, he will meet his son - Braiden - who was born yesterday afternoon. Tiny, but healthy. Mommy and baby are great, but please keep those prayers coming for Brian! Several people have emailed me privately asking about Brian. Secondly - I'm thrilled that both An Amish Christmas and Plain Promise are on the ECPA Bestseller List this month! Just in time for Christmas. I will definitely keep praying for your friend's son. Please enter me in your contest. I have these books but would love to give them to my sister in law for Christmas. It would be VERY special, since we are taking her with us to Paradise next Sept. for her 70th birthday ( and her 5 children are footing the bill for her Bed and Breakfast - for her gift).

Oh, Beth, that is such great news that Brian's baby has arrived safely and Mom and baby are doing okay! I've been praying for all of them each day and was wondering how things were going. Will keep praying for all of them, and especially that Brian has a speedy recovery and gets to meet his little son very soon! Praying for Renee, too, to have the strength and wisdom to get through all this! Of course, I'm always praying for you and Amy, Kathy, and Barbara, and sure hope Barbara is doing okay after her recent hospital stay. Congratulations on the continued great reviews for your writing and Amy, Kathy, and Barbara!

An Amish Christmas is one great book. I would love to see their way of celebrating Christmas done here. Wonderful novellas by all three authors.

I love your books and you found me on facebook and I am now waiting on book 4. so get them moving on that one please..haha. Your books come as an easy read for me. I will keep praying for Brian and his family. I hope it's not too late to be considered for winning the books! I loved Plain Perfect and Plain Pursuit, but can't afford to buy Plain Promise at the moment. So... I could pass the first two books on to a friend and read Plain Promise before passing it on too.

Beth, thanks for the web address for the Care Pages that gives updates on Brian's condition. I checked it out yesterday and recommend it to anyone who is wanting to see how this young man is doing. It is free, though you have to register and enter a password to join, but they even send you an e-mail when there is a new update! It is well worth the effort to follow this young man and his family and keep them lifted up in prayer! There is even a photo of this young couple and Baby Braiden, so, Amish readers, please check it out and keep those prayers coming for this young family! Thanks!
