A Busy Week

Hi everyone!

I hope you had a good week.  This past week flew by me in a flash.  Not only was I busy at my day job, but I also was swamped with writing.

I’m currently working on a novella that is due January 1.  I got to the halfway point before my line edits for A Promise of Hope arrived in the mail on Tuesday.  My editor, Becky, said I had until December 11 to finish the line edits; however, I managed to finish them and mail them back to her today.

For those of you who don’t know, line edits are one of the last processes that a novel must go through before it’s printed as an advanced copy.  Becky had 100 questions and comments for me to address in the novel.  My task was to read the book, edit it, and respond to the questions.

I enjoyed reading A Promise of Hope again.  I hadn’t read the story for several months, and I’d forgotten just how much I love it.  I absolutely adore the hero in the story, Luke Troyer.  I hope you’ll like him too.

A Promise of Hope will debut in March, but the advance copies should be out fairly soon.  I’ll jump on the contest bandwagon and give a couple of copies away here when the advanced copies are available.

Here’s a blurb for A Promise of Hope:

In A Promise of Hope, the second book in the Kauffman Amish Bakery series by Amy Clipston, an Amish widow with newborn twins discovers her deceased husband had disturbing secrets. As she tries to come to grips with the past, she considers a loveless marriage to ensure stability for her young family ... with her faith in God hanging in the balance.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Sincerely,

Amy

I am sooooo... excited about A Promise of Hope!!! I can hardly wait to read it. I happened to be lucky enough to have you sent me A Gift of Grace advanced copy and couldn't put it down. This new one sounds even better (although I don't think that is possible)!! I would love to win one to add to my Amish novel collection. Your last book accompanied my sister in law on her trip to Korea to visit her son, so it has been almost around the world!! Thank you for sharing your talents with those of us who are eager readers.
