Winner of the Daughters of the Promise Gift set is...

Good Morning Friends!

I don't know how my co-authors on this blog choose winners for their contests, but I have my husband randomly choose a number from the posts.  Then I locate that corresponding number on the entry.  It's always fun to see who wins!  SO - the winner of a boxed gift set of the Daughters of the Promise series is....MOLLY!  I think we only have one Molly, but I have her email address in case there is any confusion.  Molly, I'll email you privately to get an address from you.  Congrats!!

I had a fun book signing this past Saturday in Fayetteville, Texas.  It was in conjunction with 'Country Christmas on the Square'.  I had a surprise, though... Male Readers!!  This man in the pic below had read Plain Perfect, saw I would be in Fayetteville, and he came to get the rest of the series.  Another man said my writing interested him, so he bought all 5 books.  His wife shrugged and said, "What can I say, he's the reader in the family."  Several men have told me, "Your book was on the coffee table after my wife read it, so I just picked it up.  I would have never chosen this type of book, but I really enjoyed it."  So, we can't rule out our men readers out there!

I didn't catch this gentleman's name, but we talked for a long time.  Great to have some male readers out there!
I'm including this picture just because...

This is my oldest son, Eric.  He was home for Thanksgiving, and he loves our dog, Chloe.  Look at that face!  Chloe loves Eric too!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.  I have multiple deadlines closing in on me, so I'm writing like a wild woman!  Blessings!

When ever we go for any distance in the car, I like to read. I know lots of my friends can't do this as it makes them ill but not me. I will often read something very interesting and end up reading it my hubby. I have read him many books this way. Especially when it pertains to the Amish as we have very good friends that are Amish. And, I at one time was the English Teacher.

I am wondering if you ladies ever get a chance to read for yourselves?

Praying for you as you push to complete your writing. Thanks for your commitment to your 'hungry' readers! Take time for yourself, however, to regenerate yourself in the Spirit of Christmas
