Ho Ho Ho...
Happy Monday everyone -
First of all, I have to say that Kathy's 'elf' video of the four of us just cracks me up! I've had to watch that several times. Too funny. Secondly, what about Barbara's book cover? Don't cha love it?? Check out our sidebar on this site - quite a few books coming out!
And now for Amy - that whole cat and the Christmas tree thing brings back SO many memories. I remember those days when my kitties, Kiki and Katie, would climb the tree or just bat the ornaments from the bottom. What fun they had, and what a headache for me. Amy, I sympathize! Kiki and Katie are twelve years old now, so climbing the tree is the last thing on their minds. And poor Kiki is a diabetic. I'm terrified of needles, so if anyone would have told me that I would be giving my diabetic cat insulin shots twice a day - I never would have believed it. But I love her so much, so twice a day she gets popped with a tiny little shot. She usually sleeps through it.
It snowed here in my little Texas town last week. We don't usually get any snow, so it was big news. Conversation via email with Hubby went something like this. He was at his office, and I was home writing.
Me - I think I saw some flakes.
Hubby - Are you sure it isn't sleet?
Me - I think it's snow.
Hubby - Hmm...Let me go check it out here.
Me - Hurry. Write back and let me know.
Five minutes later:
Hubby - Definitely snowing here. Hard!
Me - What? Why not here?? Where's MY snow?
Hubby - Pouring snow here, honey!!
Me - No! No! No! Where's my snow??
Hubby - Maybe it's coming.
Fifteen minutes later:
Me - Yay! (danced around house!) It's snowing! It's snowing! It's snowing!!! Yay!!
I know that those of you who see snow a lot might be giggling, but it's a big deal here. It didn't stick, but it sure was pretty and fun for that one day!
I had another great book signing this past week. It was the Jingle Bell Luncheon at the Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club, complete with champagne with cherries on top. A very nice event! And I sold 35 books before I even unpacked the boxes and the book sale officially began. A super meal and great company! Thanks to the gals at Frisch Auf! for having me.
Hope everyone has a fabulous week!
Blessings, Beth

| At the Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club with Carol Helm. They had me in a cozy little nook with Santa! | |
| They put me right in front of the fireplace. A great luncheon. Sold lots of books at this event! | |
| And...sharing a pic of our tree. (Sorry, Amy...not trying to rub it in...lol). |
Hope everyone has a fabulous week!
Blessings, Beth

You live such an exciting life. I have taken my yearly 400 plus inches of snowfall for granted. Now I am moving to South Carolina to get away from most of it. lol Enjoy it while it lasts.

I am oh so sure that the big present in the back is mine, right. LOL Your tree looks very nice, but it is missing a little boys helping hand. I guess we will have to show up at the right time next year. Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
