Resolutions, anyone?
I can't believe how fast this week flew by! I hope everyone had a great Christmas--we had a lovely, relaxing one this year, which was nice. Thanks to Beth for posting that decadent recipe. I think the fact that it has oats (thus, fiber) makes it perfectly nutritious. I can't wait to try it.
In two days it will be a new year and a new decade. With new years come new resolutions, and I've been thinking about what I should resolve to do in 2010. The only problem is, whenever I make a list of resolutions, I usually blow them by January 3. So this year I'm doing something different--I'm listing what I'm going to resolve NOT to do. Maybe that will make a difference. I'll let y'all know in 2011.
Here's what I resolve not to do in 2010:
1) deny myself a brownie if I want one.
2) to eat the whole pan of said brownies, no matter how good they are.
3) ignore putting appointments on my calendar.
4) be more disorganized.
5) read fewer books.
6) refuse to relax.
7) forget to enjoy life to the fullest and give God the glory for it.
What are your resolutions this year? I wish you all a blessed New Year!
'Til next time,
Kathleen

I like the idea of what NOT to resolve to do for the New Year. I think I may have to try a few resolutions of my own like that. Good Idea, Kathy!
