Happy Anniversary Amish Hearts!
On March 2, 2009, www.amishhearts.com went live, and what a great year it has been! When we started this -- Kathy, Barbara, Amy, and I barely knew each other. And we certainly didn't know most of you. Since then, special friendships have formed all over the place -- amongst the authors here and with you, our readers. We've all (authors and readers) shared successes and heartaches, and through the good times and the bad, we've celebrated and we've prayed together. How incredibly blessed Kathy, Barbara, Amy, and I are to have each other and all of you.
(I gotta watch it...I'm starting to get teary-eyed as I write this.)
In celebration of our one-year anniversary, I've gathered some statistics about this site. I think you'll find this interesting. I did!
* 138,150 people have visited our site over the past year;
* There have been 210 entries posted, totaling 68,426 words. Hmm...that's about the word count for a book!

Congratulations!! It has been a great year reading the blogs on this site!! I have really enjoyed it....however, I am in second position for putting in frequent comments- does that mean I have too much time on my hands, I have too much to say.... or that I am just an avid reader who loves Amish fiction and the authors who produce it for us???? I hope it is the latter!! LOL Seriously, I love this site. May it continue to be a success in the years to come. Blessings.

A very happy anniversary to us, to us!
I can't believe a year has gone by already! I've had such fun writing on the site with Beth, Kathy, and Amy. Am so glad Beth urged us all to do this -- and so grateful she had the tech skills to set it up.
I've loved meeting readers and friends on the site and look forward to being here for a long time to come!

Beth, Amy, Barbara, and Kathy, congratulations on your first anniversary of the Amish Hearts website! It's hard to believe a year has already passed since I've been enjoying this site. I pray each day for each of you that God will continue to inspire you to write these delightful stories that spread His love!

Has it been only a year? It seems like this blog has been part of my daily blog rounds far longer then that. Congrats!
I love hearing about the process a book goes through before we see it in the stores, and I love getting updates on the newest books coming out.
My only suggestion is to add isbns to book listings when possible. I add them to my wish list as soon as I know the isbn.
