God Sent Me Some Help

I hope everyone had a Blessed Easter!  My mother-in-law cooked a fabulous meal, and my mother was in town to celebrate with us.  I love when my husband and I have both our families together!

I'm knee-deep in revisions on one book, have revisions coming on another book Saturday, and I have another full-length book due to my editor on July 31.  So, a couple of weeks ago, I made a big decision -- to hire some help.  I LOVE chatting with everyone on Facebook and the other media sites, and I plan to continue doing so, but there are a lot of "media related" activities that I felt I could pass on to someone else to help me with, along with some other administrative duties that are part of the writing business---aside from the writing itself.  I ran an ad for an assistant, and God sent me some great applicants.  But in the end -- He edged me toward Janet, and I am sure that he sent me not only a great assistant, but also a true friend.

Some of you might have already met Janet on Facebook, but if not...please join me here in welcoming her to our world!  Janet is married, has two grown daughters and a son.  She lives in a neighboring town in our beautiful part of Texas.  She's a reader, a gardener, and a genuinely good person.  And she's got an eye for typos!

Janet recently found this great article that reminded her (and me!) of Plain Pursuit, book #2 in the Daughters of the Promise series.  Check it out.  FROM AMISH TO M.D.

Welcome, Janet!!

Have a great week!

I loved the article mentioned and you are definitely right, there are many simularities between this and your book! How uncanny! And welcome Janet!
