Busy, Busy, Busy
Some weeks just roll past like a freight train, don't they?
Classes are winding down at the college where I teach part-time and that means lots of rushing to finish up assignments and so on.
Also, this week I've enjoyed participating in my very first online book club. Come join us over at AmishLiving.com to see what all the fun is about. We're talking about Kathleen Fuller's book An Honest Love. There's a lot of other things to enjoy on the site: news about new books out by AmishHearts.com authors and other authors, photos of trips members took to various Amish communities, contests, etc. This blog also feeds over to AmishLiving.com.
This week, super busy Kathy was not only participating in the discussion of her book on top of her writing and teaching and family responsibilities, she was being being incredibly generous and playing creative guru: she designed a book trailer for my next release! Wasn't that sweet of her?!
Kathy and Beth both have made some wonderful book trailers but I am definitely not techie enough to attempt it. Kathy designed the An Amish Christmas book trailer and I can still mist up every time I see the baby's foot sticking out of the blanket in the part about my novella, One Child. Beth has designed all her Daughter's of the Promise books.
So, this week, I thought I'd let AmishHearts.com readers be the first to take a look at the A Time to Love (Book 1 in the Quilts of Lancaster County Amish series for Abingdon Press, due out in September). J

'Til next week!

What beautiful pictures and the background music was perfect for the trailer. I am really looking forward to the whole series. I just don't know if I have the patience to wait for all of the books to be published. But I guess I don't really have a choice now do I?
Kathleen, you did an awesome job on the trailer. You ladies are truly blessed to be able to work with each other and help each other out. How wonderful to have such a friendship.
