We Have A Winner and Other Tidbits

Happy Wednesday everyone! I think last week's post was one of my favorites on Amish Hearts--I loved hearing everyone's good news! It's so wonderful hearing about how God has blessed all of you. Even through hardship we can rejoice! Thanks to everyone who commented. The winner of An Honest Love is Jane Squires! Jane, send me your snail mail address and I'll send your book asap.

I wanted to let everyone know about this cool contest involving A Summer Secret, the first book in my tween/teen series, Mysteries of Middlefield. A Summer Secret is now available for purchase at amazon, and will be hitting the bookstores on May 17. Thomas Nelson has teamed up with Susie Mag for a terrific contest for tween/teen girls: if you have a daughter, grandaughter, niece, friend, etc. who enjoys reading and writing, please let them know about this contest. Susie Mag will be giving away a copy of A Summer Secret once a week for the next six weeks! I'm very excited about the series and the book, and thanks to Susie Mag for sponsoring the contest. You can find entry information here .

Thanks to Beth for announcing Amish Love. It's been great working with Beth and Kelly, although I echo Beth's sentiment--we miss Barbara, but I'm thrilled for her new series with Abingdon! My novella in Amish Love is called What the Heart Sees. Here's a short summary:

A tragic accident rocks a peaceful Amish community, leaving Ellie Chupp blinded and shattering Christopher Bender's future. Can they find the peace and forgiveness they both seek?

'Til next time,
Kathleen

Kathy, looking forward to An Amish Love next year. Since you mentioned Barbara, I wanted to share with readers that Barbara's book A Time to Love is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com. I got word from Amazon.com yesterday and ordered my copy today!

Wishing you, Kathy, and Beth and Kelly much luck on the novella collection. Am looking forward to reading it.

And thanks for you and Beth saying you miss me. I truly loved our collaboration on An Amish Christmas and An Amish Gathering. I found two great friends while working on them!

Am having great fun writing for my new publisher and can't wait to share more about the series when the time comes.

In the meantime, will be calling the bookstore and asking them to reserve a copy of A Summer Secret and call me the minute it's there!
