Help Me Choose the Title of My Next Book!
Hello everyone! I'm starting book one of a brand new series, A Middlefield Family, this week. There's only one problem--I don't have a title! That's where you come in. I'd like to let you all choose the title of the book. Here's a short blurb about the story:
Emma Shetler and Adam Otto have been friends and neighbors since childhood. When their relationship starts to change into something more, Emma realizes she's falling in love with him. But when he suddenly leaves Middlefield without an explanation, her heart is broken. Two years later he returns, a widower and with a teen-age stepdaughter. To protect Emma, Adam can't reveal the reason why he left. Yet seeing her again brings back feelings that have never gone away. Can he convince Emma to trust him again? Or has Emma given her heart to someone else?

A Chance for Emma
Treasuring Emma

I would choose Treasuring Emma sounds appropriate acording to the story. I can't wait for your new books to come I am always looking for your books.

I LIKE "TREASURING EMMA". EVEN THOUGH HE LEFT AND HAD GOTTEN MARRIED, ETC. HE KNEW HE HAD NEVER FORGOTTEN HIS 1ST LOVE...

A Chance For Emma I believe should be the title of your new book. She's getting a second chance to start fresh with her old love

The book sounds Great and I think it should be called "Treasuring Emma" it just sounds like Emma is a treasure,

I feel silly. I started making up my own titles before I scrolled down and saw you had two choices for us. LOL Between the two I'd vote for Treasuring Emma. I am so excited I can barely stand it!

Treasuring Emma is my favorite. I just feel that is probably how the character looked at Emma ...as a God given treasure, one he hopes to win back.

I would choose Treasuring Emma.. It just seems to be a special way of introducing the story and makes you wonder what is going to happen and has happened in the past.

I like Treasuring Emma as Adam seems to be treasuring her. Seems he was protecting her from something so in fact he treasures her. It also sounds more special to this aussie.

No offense to anyone who chose the other title but I think it should be Treasuring Emma. A Chance for Emma just sounds sort of cheesy and childlike to me. But that is just my thought. Thanks for the chance to vote.

I was trying to come up with a title which really very difficult. I was playing around with "Platonic Or Love" and then I saw we were given a choice. Thank you for the choice. I select:

I like "Treasuring Emma". There are so many books with the title "A Chance for ______" that using the title "Treasuring Emma" is unique and special as your other books. Thanks!

Both titles are great....but I think since Adam returned, "A Chance for Emma" might be good with a follow up book "Treasuring Emma". Can't wait to read it, no matter what the title!

I like the title "A Chance for Emma" or maybe even "A choice for Emma" since she has the choice of trusting him or not.

Hi Kathleen, I had a very hard time with my thoughts as to what the title should be because I really like both titles. I think the title should reflect the story. Although I absolutely LOVE Treasuring Emma, i think A Chance for Emma is more fitting. However, they both work, and they are both great titles! Can't wait to read it!
