Thank you for all the congrats about Seek Me With All Your Heart being selected by Women of Faith as the first Amish fiction book.  I received some even better news this past week.  Seek Me With All Your Heart has been chosen as the Women of Faith Book of the Year for 2011, so I'm doubly blessed!  I haven't been to a Women of Faith conference yet--but, I'm planning on it next year! 

I think you all know how much I believe in the power of prayer.  Last week was an excellent example of that belief.  My publisher, Thomas Nelson, chooses someone each week to pray for.  My editor let me know that last week was my week--everyone was praying for me.  This came at a great time since my mom was undergoing some tests.  My mom's test results came back better than we'd hoped for.  And it was just a really good week for me and my family in general.  Thanks to all my friends at Thomas Nelson for putting me on your prayer list last week!

I had a book signing in a neighboring city on Saturday.  My two best girlfriends came in for the weekend and went with me.  We had a great time, and some old friends showed up whom I hadn't seen in a couple of years.  Thanks to DayStar Christian Bookstore for having me, and a big thank you to Steve and Robin (pictured) for coming to see me!  Hope everyone has a blessed week!
