How Writing Found Me

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

I hope you're enjoying time with family and friends.  Today my mom and I took my boys to the water park at the local aquatics center. I finally broke down and got a membership, and, boy, was it worth it!  The boys had a blast and were disappointed when it was time to leave after three hours.  We plan to head back tomorrow afternoon.

This weekend I'm  working diligently on my next book project, my second Amish Christmas novella, which will debut in the fall of 2011.  The story will be about Naomi King, whom you met in A Promise of Hope, and you'll get to know even better in A Place of Peace, book #3 in the Kauffman Amish Bakery Series, which is hitting bookshelves in December 2010.  My dear friend Lauran, who is one of my critique partners, really admired Naomi and suggested I write Naomi's story.  I can't wait to tell you more about it.

Today I'd like to share an entry I wrote for the Seriously Write blog.  I'm so honored to be included on this wonderful blog!  The article is about my journey to publication, and I called it How Writing Found Me .  I hope you enjoy it!

Have a happy and safe Memorial Day!
Blessings,
Amy

Really enjoyed reading the article. Its interesting hearing why people do the things they have decided to do. I would love to read the other article they referred to also, but being a rather computer illiterate person, I couldn't figure out how to view it! I for one, really enjoy your writing, and am glad you chose doing it! Thanks for the insight!
