I'm so excited! This week I received a copy of A Hand to Hold, book 3 in the Hearts of Middlefield series. AHTH tells the stories of the youngest Byler siblings--Stephen and Ruth. Ruth Byler has achieved her dream of being a school teacher, but before she can even start teaching, reckless Zach Bender drives a truck through the school! Ruth's opinion of Zach isn't very high, but that changes as he works to prove to everyone that he wants their respect, and in Ruth's case, her heart. Meanwhile Stephen lends a hand to Deborah Coblentz, who returns to Middlefield with her son Will to their family farm and discovers his love for farming--and for Deborah.

I try to read every book I can about the Amish. Today, in fact, we are going to an Amish House to eat around Arthur, IL. I find that I like the women authors better than the men authors. The women write the story better.

I have read all three of you books during camp this summer even the youth book and feel like you charters are my neighbors. Sure would like to catch up with them in A hand to hold. Just a little word for thought for you readers if you don't normally read youth books give a secret summer a read you will enjoy it.

I can't wait to read your new book, A Time to Love. My Mother sewed a lot of our clothes when I was young. I have the quilt squares she made from the remanents. I see my dress, my sister's dress, my brother's shorts, jacket, etc. But mostly, I see my Mom!

I picked up A Hand to Hold at Barnes & Nobles in Wilmington, Delaware on Sunday. I started reading it around 8:30 PM Sunday night and finished it by Monday night at 8:30 PM. What a great book. Wish it wasn't the end of the series. Keep up the good work!
