At the Conference!
I'm writing this in my room at the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) conference in Indianapolis. It's been a busy day of writing workshops, meeting new and old friends, and it seems like eating, eating, and more eating!
Beth (Wiseman) is here, too, but it's such a big conference (more than 600 in attendance) that we haven't had a chance to connect yet. I'll be seeing her at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, for the Thomas Nelson booksigning. I'm hoping someone will take our photo together -- Beth and I have not met in person -- and she will put it on her blog later that day.
Sunday at 9 a.m. I'll be signing copies of A Time to Love at the Abingdon Press booksigning. If you're in the area I hope you'll come to one or both of our signings. For those of you who are Cindy Woodsmall fans, she's here, too!
By the way, Beth and I are both finalists for BOTH of our novellas in An Amish Christmas and An Amish Gathering on Sunday at the banquet. You can go on the www.acfw.com website and get a live report on the winners of the different categories.
The winner of the autographed copy of A Time to Love in last week's contest is Diane Ulitsch. Congratulations!

I am in the process of reading A Time To Love. It is so good. I am so excited about all the Amish books that are being released. Good luck to you and Beth.

I am so glad that you are having fun and eating there too. Hehe. I love Cindy Woodsmall's books also. She is good, if I was in the Indianapolis area, I would be there at your signing, but since I live in Oklahoma, that is a little bit far away. Hehe. Have fun.

Barbara, good luck with the Carol awards! You are very worthy of this honor and I hope your talent is recognized, just like Beth's. I just recently read A Time to Love and want to recommend it to all your readers! The characters are so real and the story very meaningful. Can't wait for the next in the series! Thanks for the little taste of A Time to Heal at the end of A Time to Love! Have a great time at the conference and a safe trip home!
