I am so honored to be the newest voice on Amish Hearts and deeply appreciate all of the warm welcomes received! Thank you all. Above you'll see a photo of where I grew up...smack in the middle of the Allegheny Mountains...and two steps from nowhere. But that "nowhere" gave me a rich heritage to live near the Amish people of North Central Pennsylvania. Consequently, the communities I write about are a blending of cultures--Amish and Mountain people. These are hearty, wholesome, and strong people. Life isn't easy in the mountains and time sits a little heavier on men's brows, but I can look back with joy to my growing up years and hope to share that all with you in my Patch of Heaven Series. I also love writing novellas with the great ladies on this site and find myself looking up to some wonderful authors and friends! I look forward to posting here on Fridays to give you all a taste of Amish history and culture!

I am so happy to see you on Amish Hearts!I absolutely loved your book,Sarah's Garden. I did not have it in time for the Book Club on Amish Living, but read it after it was given to me by them for being member of the month. I love Amish fiction and you are joining my list of favorite authors. Hope you enjoy being on this site!
