This 'n That
I forgot to post this over the weekend...Beth, Kathy, and Kelly have generously allowed me to step out of our usual order and post it today so everyone will know who won the contest...
Just a bunch of unrelated topics on an evening when I'm "written out" from writing on my current work in progress...
No one wants to hear how hot it is...it's hot EVERYWHERE! Except for a New Zealand reader who sent photos of a snowy backyard...
Had an urge to do some spring type housecleaning. Suppressed it. Too hot, even with air conditioning. And meeting my current deadline is too important.
Got my cover for the first book in a new series and waiting for my editor's approval to show it to you.
And finally, the winner of last week's contest to give away an autographed copy of An Amish Christmas: Expanded Edition is: Kathy Faberge...and Karen from Singapore. I decided to give away two because I couldn't make a decision. I sent both winners an e-mail requesting their address.
Coming in the next month or so: a contest for an Advance Reader Copy of A Time for Peace, the third book in the Quilts of Lancaster County and some Amish goodies I hope to pick up this week doing research in an Amish community.
Until then, try to stay cool and not worry over the budget talks...
Blessings,
Barbara

Barbara, thank you for the reminder not to worry over the budget talks. It is really hard not to. The Bible says that we are not to worry, that our Lord will take care of our every need. I need to remember to take my worries to the Lord and leave them there!
Blessings,
Judy
