Coming Soon
A Time for Peace, Book 3 of the Quilts of Lancaster County, is coming soon.
I'm lining up plans to run a contest for an Advanced Reader Copy.
In the meantime, I'm so enjoying finishing up the second book in the next series for Abingdon Press. While I've written about characters who quilt before, Naomi creates quilts for a living for a very special shop owned by her grandmother.
Naomi and her grandmother take a trip to Pinecraft, the little town near Sarasota, Florida, where some Amish and Mennonites from up North visit during the winter. I've written about the area before. You can scroll back through the archives to see my visit with Sherry Gore, author of the Taste of Pinecraft cookbook. There's also some beautiful photos of the wedding of Sherry's daughter, you might enjoy.
Are you enjoying summer? This past week we were threatened by a Tropical Storm we feared would develop into a hurricane. Fortunately, the storm fizzled... ever since that good news I haven't complained about the heat.
So, I'm going back to work...Hope you have a good week!
Blessings,
Barbara

Barbara,
This summer has been one of the hottest summers I have ever experienced. It is suppose to reach 110 today and I am definitely not ready for this. Am ready for some cooler weather here in Oklahoma. But, the summer has been a good summer though.
