What a week!

I always think time flies but it really has this week. One of the exciting things that happened was that I fell in love with a Chihuahua at a shelter and met a lovely woman and her boyfriend when they rescued it for me and drove it up from Miami.

I have trouble with technology and so I can't post her photo here but if you'll join me over on Facebook you'll see her. The other three dogs -- two young Chihuahuas and a Chi mix that's very old -- really welcomed her to our home and the two sisters actually let her take over their bed they share. One did put her foot down about sharing her food but that's understandable.

The two winners of A Time to Heal in last week's contest are Pat Moore and Colleen Myers. I'll e-mail you for your mailing address.

Hope you have a good week! I'm off to bed with a good book and little dogs that think they should sleep at my feet.

Have a good week!

Barbara

Bless you for taking that dog into your family. I'm a dog lover too. It always brightens my heart knowing another of God's creatures are being cared for by caring people. It really upsets me to see so many animals that are just being given up as unwanted because they're not the cute little kitten or puppy they used to be. People don't want the responsibility. It's so sad. It's different if the person can't take care of the animal, but nevertheless sad.
I'm so glad that God doesn't get sick of us and put us in a place where who knows what could happen. He always has the best plan for us. We may hurt Him sometimes, unfortunately, but that's still not enough for us to end up in some kind of equivalent to a pound or animal rescue. He loves us and continually wants to bless us.
I hope your new little chihuahua friend will be a blessing to you and the rest of your family, and that the teething problems, (hopefully not literally), will be over quickly.
