Why I Write Amish Fiction

Happy Monday!  I'm hard at work finishing two books.  I'm putting the finishing touches on book #3 in the Land of Canaan series--His Love Endures Forever, and I'm also working on my story in An Amish Kitchen--A Recipe For Hope.  An Amish Kitchen is a novella collection with three tales by me, Kelly Long, and Amy Clipston.

The following is a video tape my publisher made.  I explain a little bit about why I write Amish fiction--and Christian fiction, in general.  Hope you enjoy!

I loved your video. And it made me think about when I first met you at the ACFW Conference in Minneapolis. We've come so far in that time.

    Beth,

Oh my goodness, you have been such a huge blessing to me. I have read almost all of your books. I love them all. Thank you for giving me such a blessing when I read your books. You see, I read books and review them also. I love doing this and my husband has even said that I need to write a book, but I won't do that until I retire from my job which will be in about 4 1/2 years. But we will see.

The Lord is really and truly blessing you, I can see Jesus through you and through your books. Please keep it up for me at least.

    Debbie
